Ignite Publishing Announces July 31 Release of Ignite Humanity Everyday People Making Extraordinary Impact

Ignite Publishing today announced the upcoming release of Ignite Humanity: Everyday People Making Extraordinary Impact, a twenty-seven author anthology launching July 31st, the newest title from the team behind the international bestselling Ignite compilation series.

Canada, 29th Jul 2026Ignite Publishing today announced the July 31 release of Ignite Humanity: Everyday People Making Extraordinary Impact, a new compilation book from the team behind the international bestselling Ignite series. The book is written by Lady JB Owen, founder and CEO of Ignite Publishing, alongside twenty-six additional authors, and includes a foreword by Jim Poole, CEO of NuCalm.

The book centers on the premise that meaningful change is not reserved for the famous or the powerful. Its title, Ignite Humanity: Everyday People Making Extraordinary Impact, reflects its central idea: that ordinary individuals, through a single decision or turning point in their lives, are capable of shifting the course of their own story and, in turn, the lives of others around them. Each chapter is built around the belief that no two stories are the same, yet every story shares a common thread: the human capacity to rise, to give, and to connect across difference.

Each of the twenty-seven contributors shares a personal account of a defining turning point in their life, referred to within the Ignite series as an Ignite Moment. Every author’s story is paired with a companion profile of a historical figure whose life reflects a similar experience, selected by that author. The historical figures featured span more than two thousand years, from the philosopher Socrates in ancient Greece and the thirteenth-century poet Rumi, to twentieth-century figures including Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln, and Maria Montessori, alongside individuals whose contributions to science, education, and the arts are documented but not widely known.

“Every single person on this planet has a story, and every story has the power to impact humanity,” said Lady JB Owen. “Our stories do not define us. They refine us. They make us human. And sharing that story may be the very thing that helps someone else discover the same. That is what this book is. Twenty-six examples that one person, choosing to show up, can change everything for everyone.”

About Lady JB Owen and Ignite Publishing

Owen founded Ignite Publishing on a simple belief: that every human being carries a story, and that story, once shared, has the power to change lives globally. At the heart of every Ignite book is the Ignite Moment™, the single pivotal instant that changes the direction of a person’s life. Every author goes through the company’s own training and coaching process, learning how to find that exact moment and how to tell it as the hero of their story rather than the victim of it.

“We don’t teach people to relive their pain,” said Owen. “We teach them to recognize the moment they rose out of it. That is the version of the story that actually helps someone else rise too. My mission has never been about me. It is about waking people up to what they are capable of, and reminding every person watching or reading that they already carry what the world is waiting for.”

Under her leadership, Ignite Publishing has grown into an international compilation series, publishing more than 800 authors from 47 countries across 27 books to date. Owen also hosts Ignite Humanity Live, a program featuring conversations with leaders and public figures about personal impact and service to others.

About Jim Poole and the Foreword

Ignite Humanity: Everyday People Making Extraordinary Impact features a foreword written by Jim Poole, CEO of NuCalm, a company focused on neuroscience-based technology for stress reduction and nervous system regulation. Poole has spent more than a decade working in the field of human physiology and stress response, and also contributes a personal chapter to the book alongside the other twenty-six authors.

Author List

The twenty-six featured authors are: Allison Prince, Andi Buerger, Barbie Layton, Bobbi Smith, Brigitta Hoeferle, Brittni Fiddler, Butta B Rocka, Carol Daly, Dame Doria Cordova, Debra Atkinson, Diana von Welanetz Wentworth, Farrah Smith, Husam, Jackie Graves, Janie Jurkovich, Jeff Pappas, Jenny Salimi, Jim Poole, Katie Allen, Kyla Rawlins, LaShawn Merritt, Margie Breault, Nicole Mixdorf, Randy Dyck, Sarah Gallop, and Sri Mummaneni.

Together with Lady JB Owen, these twenty-seven voices span multiple countries and industries, including business, medicine, sports, entertainment, healing arts, philanthropy, and advocacy. Their stories cover loss, reinvention, faith, forgiveness, service, and the quiet daily choices that build a meaningful life. Each contributor wrote their chapter with the stated intention of using their personal experience to offer guidance, encouragement, or perspective to readers navigating similar circumstances.

About the Ignite Moment Framework

Each Ignite Publishing book is organized around what the company calls an Ignite Moment: a specific, identifiable turning point in an author’s life. Authors go through Ignite Publishing’s internal writing and coaching process to identify this moment and structure their chapter around it, alongside a historical figure selected to accompany their story. The pairing structure, in which each personal story is followed by a profile of a historical figure with a parallel life experience, is used throughout the Ignite compilation series.

Inspiration Classrooms Initiative

Ignite Humanity: Everyday People Making Extraordinary Impact is released alongside Ignite Publishing’s ongoing Inspiration Classrooms initiative, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit program focused on providing sustainable, eco-friendly learning environments for children in underserved communities and incorporating the same story-based framework used throughout the Ignite series into early childhood education. To date, the initiative has funded the construction of two schools, built using environmentally sustainable materials and designed to serve as long-term community learning spaces. The curriculum used within these classrooms includes storytelling components drawn from the Ignite Moment framework, intended to help children recognize resilience, compassion, and problem-solving within stories from history as well as their own lives.
